Edgerton's Rollie Williams was one of only four athletes in University of Wisconsin history to earn nine letters. Williams starred in football, basketball and baseball from 1920-23.


While starring at Edgerton High School, Williams became friends with fellow Hall member Guy Sundt, who played at Stoughton. They later teamed in the Badgers' backfield. Williams was an All Western Conference selection in basketball and football. He also was known as a fleet outfielder on the UW baseball team.


After his graduation from Wisconsin, Williams coached at Millikin University and became the Iowa basketball coach. He later went into athletics administration at Iowa.
