On April 29, 2017, you’re invited to a historical evening, celebrating the careers of Charles Woodson, Ron Dayne and Sherri Steinhauer. Bud Selig will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and 2016 Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, Donald Driver, will return as the emcee. The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame returns to the same venue of our very first induction ceremony 66 years ago – the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. It’s an evening not to be missed.
Founded in 1951, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame was created to preserve the legacy and rich history of sports and athletic achievements in our state. It’s here to recognize not only our great sports icons but each of you, the people of this state, and your incredible passion for sports. Through the years, the hall has immortalized 137 individuals and their accomplishments. Their legacy is here for all Wisconsinites to celebrate and honor for generations to come.
Be part of the history and celebration of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame. We hold many events and celebrations throughout the year.
