Ahman Green

Ahman Green is one of the most dynamic and productive running backs in Green Bay Packers history, celebrated for his versatility, durability, and explosive playmaking ability. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Green played college football at the University of Nebraska, where he was a key contributor to the Cornhuskers’ national championship teams. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft before being acquired by the Packers in 2000, a move that would define his professional career.

During his eight seasons in Green Bay (2000–2006, 2009), Green became the franchise’s all-time leading rusher with 8,322 yards, a record that stood for nearly two decades. He earned four Pro Bowl selections and was named First-Team All-Pro in 2003 after leading the NFL in rushing yards. Known for his rare combination of speed, power, and receiving ability, Green was a perfect fit in the Packers’ offense and a constant threat to score from anywhere on the field.
