Olympic stars Jordan Stolz, Caroline Harvey to be honored at Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Olympic speed skating star Jordan Stolz and Olympic women’s hockey MVP and University of Wisconsin star Caroline Harvey will be honored at the 76th anniversary Induction Ceremony of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame, presented by Network Health, on July 8.

The much-anticipated ceremony will be held at the Marcus Performing Arts Center in downtown Milwaukee, with a pre-event reception beginning at 5 p.m. The inductees will be honored at an awards ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. in Uihlein Hall.

The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame, founded in 1951, was created to preserve the legacy and history of sports and athletic achievements in the state. Past inductees include Vince Lombardi, Hank Aaron, Donald Driver, Bob Uecker, Barry Alvarez, Brett Favre, Jordy Nelson, Oscar Robertson, Al McGuire, Bonnie Blair, and Ernie Johnson, Jr.

Stolz won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics and Harvey led Team USA to Olympic gold in women’s hockey. She also helped the University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team win its second straight National Championship trophy in March, the third in Harvey’s four-year collegiate career.

Stolz and Harvey will be honored by the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame with its Wisconsin Athlete of the Year Award. Both will attend the ceremony and take part in a Q&A during the event.

“I am thrilled to be honored by the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame,” said Stolz, who grew up in Kewaskum and trained at the Pettit National Ice Center in West Allis. “Skating in the Olympics and representing my country was an honor of a lifetime. I am so happy that I was able to win three medals. It was such an amazing experience and I am so grateful for all the support I have received from so many people throughout Wisconsin.”

Harvey recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin after an incredible career, culminating by winning the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, women’s college hockey’s highest individual honor. She is expected to be the top pick in the Professional Women’s Hockey League draft in June.

“I am honored to receive this award from the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame,” Harvey said. “My time at the University of Wisconsin has been amazing, especially being able to help win three national championships. It changed my life and has been crucial to my development as a hockey player and as a person. I loved every second of my time as a Badger. On Wisconsin.”

Stolz and Harvey will be honored along with the induction of the Hall of Fame’s 2026 class that includes Milwaukee Brewers legend Ryan Bryan, retired Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy, Milwaukee soccer legend Bob Gansler, and Team USA wheelchair basketball two-time gold medalist John Boie.

"We are excited to celebrate Jordan and Caroline for their incredible performances this year,” said Brian Lammi, Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame co-owner. “It’s been a great year for Wisconsin athletes, and the accomplishments of Jordan and Caroline are at the top of the list of many great performances. We look forward to honoring them as part of our 76th anniversary.”
