A native of Lubbock, Texas, Crosby played college football at the University of Colorado, where he earned consensus All-American honors and won the Lou Groza Award as the nation’s top kicker in 2006. His powerful leg and calm demeanor under pressure led to his selection by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, beginning a career that would span 16 seasons in Green Bay.
Throughout his tenure with the Packers (2007–2022), Crosby became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer and one of the most trusted kickers in league history. He played in more games than any other player in Packers history and converted countless critical kicks, including multiple game-winners in postseason play. Crosby was a key contributor to the Packers’ victory in Super Bowl XLV and earned Pro Bowl honors in 2016, a season highlighted by his perfect 16-for-16 performance on field goals.
